This Was Just SO, SO WRONG

So this horrifying event began with 2 outs before Aubrey Huff and Travis Lee had back to back singles, but Al Martin struck out which brings back some really bad memories and off we go to the bottom half where we sit down in order.

So second inning and Damian Rolls led off with a homerun and then Marlon Anderson singled and then CHRIST ALMIGHTY GIL! Javier Valentin homered as well, and it's 3-0 Tampa Bay and an out later, Carl Crawford singled and stole second but they are THANKGODFULLY done scoring, and then we sit down in order AGAIN.

Third inning. With 1 out, Al Martin doubled, but Rolls lined into a double play and then with 1 out for us, Randy Winn singled and then Willie Bloomquist TRIPLED and an out later and Carlos "I AM TYING THE GAME!" Guillen TIED THE GAME by going yard and it's 3-all as we head to the fourth inning.

Well so much for the tie, as with 2 outs, Antonio Perez homered and it's 4-3 Tampa Bay and then we sit down in order again, so fifth inning and Rocco Baldelli doubled and an out later and Travis Lee singled and then Al Martin grounded into a double play of course, but somehow Baldelli scored on it and I didn't get to see it because I was watching Charlies Angels, Full Throttle at the time, and the Devil Rays take a 5-3 lead and we sit down in order AGAIN.

Sixth inning. Julio Mateo relieved Gil Meche and retired the side 1-2-3 and then we're down in order AGAIN, so moving right along to the seventh, the Devil Rays follow suit sitting down in order just like we did and then we waste Mike Cameron's 2-out walk.

So eighth inning and with 1 out, Travis Lee homered like maybe they should go talk to Shit Lips Rodriguez who insists you can't hit homeruns here and it's 6-3 Devil Rays as we head to the bottom half where we waste Bloomie's 1-out double.

So ninth inning and Rafael Soriano relieved Mateo and walked Anderson but recovered nicely to retire the rest of the side in order and I'm listening on the radio in my car as Bret "I'm Going Yard!" Boone leads off by GOING YARD and it's 6-4 and Lou goes out to talk to Victor Zambrano and he goes back to the dugout and meanwhile Dave Niehaus and Ron Fairley are talking about how they were glad for the break anyway, I think because Dave had to go to the bathroom and then Edgar "I'm Going Yard Too!" Martinez GOES YARD TOO and all of a sudden it's a 1-run game and then Lou goes out and yanks Zambrano and brings in Al Levine who I wonder if he still has his cool sideburns and Olerud lined out and then Lou brings in Brandon Backe who struck out Mike Cameron and then Lou brings in Lance Carter who gets Ben Davis to fly out and we lose it 6-5 and the image of Lou Piniella out on the field CLAPPING FOR THE TAMPA BAY DEVIL RAYS after a game BROKE MY HEART.
