Good Grief

So this game began retardedly as Luis Matos singled and then Melvin Mora grounded him to second and then he went to third on a passed ball and then BJ Surhoff doubled which scored him and which made me swear very loudly and we end up heading to the bottom half trailing 1-0 already and we sit down in rather dismal order.

So second inning and EVERYBODY'S down in order, so moving right along to the third, everybody's down in order again unless you count Ben Davis's single that he got thrown out trying to turn into a double, and let's just keep going to the fourth where Ryan Franklin sat Baltimore down 1-2-3 and we wasted Bret's 2 out infield single.

Fifth inning.  Tony Batista singled and 2 outs later, Brook Fordyce singled but they don't score and then we DO as with 1 out, Mike Cameron singled and then he stole second and then Mark McLemore grounded him over to third and then Jeff Cirillo walked and then Ben Davis singled which scored Mike and we tie the game!!! 

So sixth inning and... it somehow becomes 4-1 Baltimore, and I'm not really sure how as I blacked out from the horror of it all and then we're still showing signs of life at least as Randy Winn led off with a single and then Bret singled and then 2 outs late, Cammie singled which scored Randy and it's 4-2 Orioles as we head to the seventh.

So Baltimore had a couple hits that nobody really gives a good goddamn about and some Carrasco guy relieved Rick Helling and with 1 out, Ben Davis doubled, and then Ichiro reached on a bunt single and Ben went to third and we don't score them and I swear myself light-headed.

Eighth inning and yeah, okay, 6-2 Baltimore, and we do nothing, so off we go to the ninth where the Orioles score again to make it 7-2 and that's what it would stay as Kerry Ligtenberg came in and we do absolutely NOTHING AT ALL.
