Losing To Texas Is Embarrassing

Happy 4th of July.

So this rather embarrassing event began rather well actually, as Ichiro singled and Mark McLemore grounded him over to second and Bret walked and then Ichiro stole third and then Edgar singled and that scored Ichiro and then Mike Cameron walked and then Ben Davis hit a sac fly to score Bret and we lead it 2-0 as we head to the bottom half where Hank Blalock singled with 1 out but that's nicely erased as Alex "Shit Lips" Rodriguez grounded into a double play.

So second inning and with 2 outs, Ichiro walked but that's all we manage and then Freddy Garcia retired the side in order and evidently Juan Gonzalez vetoed the trade that would've sent him to Montreal and I guess there is just something about Texas that attracts people who don't care if they lose as long as their own numbers are fine and I think we call these people "losers" and "Shit Lips" and anyway, with 2 outs, Mike Cameron reached on an infield single and then Ben Davis walked and then Randy Winn singled which scored Mike and we lead it 3-0 as we head to the bottom half where Freddy retired the side in order.

Fourth inning.  With 2 outs, Mark McLemore was safe on error.  We fail to score him.  Then Freddy loses ALL FUCKING CONTROL and 5 runs later, it's 5-3 Texas and I'm so horrified it's all I can do to keep from throwing up.

Fifth inning.  Edgar walked.  Some Dickey guy relieved their starter, Santos, and we don't get anything going and then Texas wastes a 2 out double from Shit Lips, so it's still 5-3 Texas as we head to the sixth where Randy singled, stole second, an out later was grounded to third and we don't score him which made me say "FUCK!" really loud, and then Freddy retires the side in order, which we wish he would've done two innings earlier, not that I could do any better, but JESUS.

Seventh inning.  Mark McLemore led off with a single.  That's it.  Bottom of the seventh.  Texas scores 2 runs.  Nobody cares how, because nobody likes Texas or their Shit Lips assclown of a shortstop.

Eighth inning.  Texas makes a pitching change, which is more than we do in the top half, and then Freddy retired the side in order and off we go to the ninth where with 1 out, Ichiro reached on an infield single and then Mac walked and then the Rangers made another pitching change and Ichiro stole third and Mac went to second on what was ruled as indifference and we of course don't score anyone which, when playing against Team Shit Lips, is really humiliating.
