M's Are Back To Ruling Again

So this lovely event began with Ichiro singling and then a double play later and - yeah, okay nevermind.  So bottom of the first and with 2 outs, Tim Salmon brought his ass in from leftfield so they could single but that was as exciting as it got.

Second inning and I leave to go see Finding Nemo with my Mom, Paula and The Nephews and with 1 out, John Olerud singled and then Mike Cameron singled and then I swear very loudly as I'm driving down the road and let's just leave it at that and head to the bottom half where Freddy retires the side in order.

Third inning and Jeff Cirillo led off with a double and Dan Wilson grounded him over to third and then he ended up scoring on an error by Troy Glaus and we lead it 1-0 and then Adam Kennedy singled for the Angels to lead off their half but it was nicely erased by a double play and Anaheim ends up down in order again sort of, so fourth inning and we waste Edgar's 1-out walk, and then Anaheim doesn't fair much better wasting a double from Tim Salmon and His Ass of Another Dimension that Cammie ALMOST made a spectacular play on.  Um, a play on the hit, not on Salmon's ass.  Just so we're clear.

So fifth inning and Mike "I'm Pissed I Didn't Make That Play & I AM GOING YARD!" Cameron WENT YARD to lead things off and then an out later and Cirillo walked but got caught stealing and anyway, it's 2-0 us as we head to the bottom half where with 1 out, Bengie Molina homered and then Kennedy walked and then an out later and Erstad singled, and with runners at the corners, Kennedy tried to steal home which was a very bad idea because he was OUT and he slid into Danny pretty hard and so Dan tagged him pretty hard I guess and I kind of wish I could've seen this because it sounded very exciting, and anyhow, 2-1 M's.

So sixth inning and Ichiro led off with a big nasty double and then Carlos Guillen singled which scored him and then Bret "I'M GOIN YARD!" Boone WENT YARD and then Edgar walked and then Ben Shields relieved poor Aaron Sele and an out later, Cam grounded Edgar to second and then Randy Winn singled which scored him and when all is said and done, it's 6-1 Seattle.

So bottom of the sixth and Freddy retires the side 1-2-3, and then we're down in order and then... blah blah blah, Anaheim scores twice, Shiggy comes in to get the final out, 6-3 Seattle as we head to the eighth where we do nothing and Tim Salmon & His Ass Of Another Dimension doubled and then Artie came in and shut their butts down, even Tim Salmon's whose seems to have a mind of its own.

Ninth inning and some Rodriguez guy relieves Shields and we waste Randy's 1-out single and then Jeff Nelson came in and Molina doubled to lead things off and then an out later and some Davanon guy singled which scored Molina but Jeff settles down and gets the next two batters and we win it 6-4.
